Legends of Slots
Legends of Slots is one of those casual games that's easy to underestimate from the icon. You spin a set of reels, match themed symbols, and each completed set nudges a little story forward about a cast of fantasy legends. It's tactile in a way that works well on a phone, with satisfying tap-and-release spins and a reel that slows down just enough to build a small moment of anticipation.
What kept me opening it was the collection layer. Finishing symbol sets unlocks character cards with little bios and artwork, and there's a gentle progression of worlds to move through. The pacing is relaxed; you can play a round waiting for coffee and not feel like you've broken a long chain. Controls are forgiving and the whole thing runs smooth even on an older device.
It isn't deep strategy and it doesn't pretend to be. But as a palate cleanser between heavier tower defence sessions, it's charming, readable and never fiddly. The art style in particular does a lot of heavy lifting.
